Students must complete three (3) humanities courses at any level, including

• Any courses in HHS prefix

• Any courses in HLI prefix

• Any courses in HPL prefix

• Any courses in HST prefix

• Any courses in HSSC prefix

• Any courses in HQSS prefix EXCEPT HQSS 300

• Any courses in HAR prefix that carry humanities credit

• Any courses in HMU prefix that carry humanities credit

Students must complete six (6) additional elective courses or 18 credits, chosen by the student, which may be used to satisfy minor, double major, or dual-degree requirements.

Students must complete one (1) semester (at least 3 credits) of mathematics.  Note that 2-credit math courses run for half a semester and are taken in pairs (MA 110 + MA 112 = one semester, 4 credits).

Students must complete one (1) course from the following. Completing the lab component of a science course adds one credit to the course.

• CE 240 – Introduction to Geosciences

• CH prefix – any course, level 100-499

• BIO prefix – any course, level 100-499

• PEP prefix – any course, level 100-499
