Students must complete five (5) courses in one or more disciplines outside of the major program of study, including (but not limited to) engineering management, physics, chemistry, computer science, marketing analytics, or another discipline within HASS. These courses may be used to satisfy minor, double major, or dual-degree requirements.

Students must complete two semesters (at least 6 credits) of mathematics. Note that 2-credit math courses are taken in pairs, running a half semester each (e.g. MA 110 + MA 111 = 1 semester, 4 credits). Thus, for many students, completing the math requirement will entail completing seven (7) credits of math.
