Program Description
This 9-credit professional graduate certificate is a container credential, offered as a direct pathway and aligned to the Stevens Online Master of Business Administration (MBA). Learners complete any three (3) graduate MBA courses, drawn from the MBA curriculum, for a total of 9 credits. The certificate is positioned as a stackable on-ramp into the Stevens Online MBA: all 9 credits earned in the certificate apply directly toward the MBA degree upon admission. Recommended pathways are provided for learners targeting leadership and management, finance and accounting, marketing strategy, operations and analytics, or general MBA breadth. Course offerings, eligibility, prerequisites, and minimum-grade policy follow the official MBA catalog maintained by the School of Business.
Program Objectives
The certificate inherits and prepares learners for a selected subset of the parent MBA Program Objectives:
Develop personal leadership and managerial capacity effective in technology-driven and analytics-driven organizations through completion of three graduate MBA courses drawn from the MBA curriculum.
Analyze cross-functional business problems through the integrated lens of strategy, finance, marketing, operations, and organizational behavior within a chosen sub-area of MBA practice.
Apply data-informed and AI-augmented decision-making to managerial situations.
Establish credit-bearing momentum toward the full MBA degree by qualifying for MBA express admission (a grade of B or better in each certificate course, plus the required GPA) and transferring all 9 certificate credits into the parent program.
