Program Description

Applied Data Science is a coherent framework of principles and applicable techniques for processing and analyzing big data towards decision-making. The Master of Engineering in Applied Data Science (MEADS) provides the foundations, tools, techniques and perspectives needed to lead in the current data-first era. The program will offer an extensive curriculum with courses on coding and Data Bases, Statistical Methods, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as ChatGPT and Generative AI. Focused on real world impact, the program includes hands-on projects in every course and a capstone project that enables learners to apply their knowledge to business-critical problems. Upon fulfilling the program requirements, participants should be able to demonstrate their mastery in leveraging data science for strategic influence.

  • Analyze data with state-of-the-art modeling techniques with both high interpretability and prediction power.

  • Make informed decisions based on the data, leveraging various AI technologies, machine learning, etc.
