Program Description

The Stevens Economics bachelor's degree program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of economic theory, quantitative analysis and the global forces shaping markets and public policy. Students develop a strong foundation in microeconomics, macroeconomics, game theory and econometrics while exploring how technology, analytics and globalization influence decision-making across industries. Students can choose the optional study abroad component to gain international experience and examine economic systems and business practices from a global perspective.

The program emphasizes economics alongside data analytics, quantitative reasoning and communication skills essential to today's data-driven economy, integrating predictive modeling, statistical analysis and global business perspectives throughout the curriculum. Compared to many undergraduate economics programs, this represents a distinctive focus on technology and applied analytics. This interdisciplinary approach prepares graduates to analyze complex economic challenges and positions them for careers in economics, finance and banking.
