Course Description
The goal of this course is to enable students to better understand the functioning of labor markets and the diversity issues within labor markets, in the context of the fourth industrial “technological” revolution. This course will (a) introduce the economic analysis of behaviors and institutions in the job market; and (b) give students the tools to think about topics such as the role of educational attainment, employment discrimination, income inequality and bargaining power in the age of digital job markets.
