Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics II

Chemical Engineering (Program)Engineering and Science

Course Description

Based on thermodynamic property theories and models for pure substances introduced in Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics I, this course explores theories, models, and methods for thermodynamic properties of mixtures, phase equilibrium, and chemical reaction equilibrium. After the course study, students will be able to establish equilibrium relationships and create mixture property data for separation operation analysis, reactor design, and chemical process design.
