This course would cover a topic of current interest, relevance and importance in Chemistry. The 
topics will change each time the course will be offered and will be listed in the syllabus and 
course schedule. Students can use this course to apply towards a technical elective in the 
Chemistry, Chemical Biology, and Biology majors. This special topics course can be repeated 
for additional credit provided that the two course sections attempted cover different topics. Instructor permission will be required.
