Course Description

User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI) design is the design of experience: between people and technologies, environments, and systems. UX/UI design explores human behavior, senses, and emotions. Students will learn how to create interactive experiences in social, digital, virtual, and spatial contexts. This class is a broad overview of the foundations of UX/UI, and in it, students will learn through their own experiences in class, field trips, and making experiences for others through class projects. Students will gain an understanding of the foundations, principles, and tools of this growing design field.
