Course Description

The Satellite and Spacecraft Design course provides a comprehensive overview of the various aspects involved in designing satellites, including CubeSats, Small Satellites, and Constellations. The course covers essential topics, including the design and integration of multiple subsystems such as power, propulsion, guidance and navigation, attitude control, communications, thermal control, structures, materials and manufacturing, payload, electronics, software, and autonomy. The course prepares students for a variety of careers in the aerospace, defense, and satellite industries. They may also find opportunities in research and development, working on the design and integration of satellites in both commercial and governmental space organizations.
