Senior Innovation: Value Proposition

Course Description
This course lays the foundation for the innovation process by focusing on defining, validating, and structuring problems before solution development begins. Students will learn to apply professional tools and frameworks such as Problem–Action–Result (PAR), Voice of the Customer (VoC), Requirements Gathering, and Risk Assessment to translate stakeholder insights into actionable design and innovation requirements. Emphasis is placed on understanding stakeholder needs, framing the right problems, developing measurable requirements, and defining clear project boundaries. Teams will produce a complete Project Charter and Value Proposition to complement their Senior Design project.
